This page collects strategy ideas for a TAS of Any% No Overlord. It only contains strategies that can be done with a single player/controller. Obvious things like movement optimization or edge jumps are not included, nor are strats that are done in the IL WR.

IL runs that skip entire levels using deloads are not considered here, since there's nothing you could write down about that.

First Steps (WR video)

Get a Grip (deloadless WR video)

• 0:19: Bananaless jump onto the green block, then a bunny hop across (video)
• 0:31: Trippy RCJ (video)
• 0:48 (idea): Bounce RCJ onto gate, place tail sticker and get flung

Skate to Victory (fastest deloadless run with video)

• 0:31: Maybe something with this, but probably not
• 0:32: The boot that's located right after the gate can squeeze you down and fling you right and up on the platforming (happened to Krosso)
• 1:05: Skip pulling plank down (video (at 1:09))
• 1:16: Eggshell fling (video)

Swinging Safari (WR video)

• [lost to time]
• Jump over a wall on the roof to skip a section (video)
• 0:23: Giraffe skip, if helpful (video)
• 0:42: RCJ off race gate to branches if it's faster
• 0:49: Fling from the monkey (video)

Burning Forest (WR video)

• 0:41: Backwards croc fling (video) or normal croc fling

The Meerkat Kingdom (fastest deloadless run with video)

• If not doing the deload: meerkat boost (video)

The Wedding Reception (WR video)

• 0:26: High skull fling (video)
• 0:43: Get flung off the first skull to the right (video)
• 0:55 (idea): Get bounced to the right by the upper skull

The Darkness (WR video)

• 1:09: Jump across (video was lost)
• 2:00: When the final skull elevator moves up, squeeze yourself in the space between it and the skull to the left to get a fling (video)
• 2:05: After activating the jumpscare on the right, LCJ off debris (video)

• 0:25 (idea): Jump across without using the lever; otherwise lever fling (video was lost)

• 1:23: Place the bombs in a way that you get a part of the cardboard wall to clip and get stuck at the wall (1:38) (video not found but might exist) or get launched by a bomb to skip the next part

• 3:13: Jump onto his head

• 0:26: Bounce and be fast (video was lost)
• 0:30: Cycle skip also possible from below with perfect movement (video was lost)

• 0:30 (idea): Jump out of car early, bounce with momentum, do [lost to time]
• 0:47: RCJ over the electricity (video was lost)

• Manipulate physics so that [lost to time] happens
